Insulation

Batt Insulation: Pre-cut fiberglass or mineral wool panels that fit between framing studs. Rockwool: Made from volcanic rock or slag, offering fire resistance and soundproofing. Blown-in Insulation: Loose-fill insulation blown into attics or wall cavities, often made of fiberglass or cellulose.
Gypsum Board
Also known as drywall or plasterboard, gypsum board is used to create interior walls and ceilings. Fire-Rated Panels: Specialized drywall designed to provide fire resistance, commonly used in areas with strict fire safety regulations.
Taping Mud Finishing
This involves applying joint compound (also known as "mud") over the joints between drywall panels to create a smooth surface. Different levels of finish (slights) are available, ranging from 2 to 5, with higher levels requiring more coats and sanding for a smoother finish.
